Bible Challenge

Public·7 friends

I haven't posted in this group in a while. Truth be told I have struggled to get in a good rhythm this school year. I was doing so good this summer, then September came and I feel like I fell flat on my face. I am committed to making the time and working to develop better habits. Sunday morning I woke up really stressed and overwhelmed. I pulled out my Bible and made it a point to sit and start my day with His Word. A few hours later I found myself having patience and keeping me cool with Felicity in a situation where I normally loose control.

Even if all you can manage right now is 1 chapter, or listening to the Bible app while driving or cooking dinner, choose to make the effort. As we invest in our relationship with Christ He will be faithful to produce in…

I have heard the story of Joseph in Egypt many times as a kid, I have read it multiple times as an adult, but reading today I got so much out of it that I hadn't in the past.

Not only will they be satisfied themselves, but they will also become a river so that others may drink and be satisfied."

This is an important reminder that the message of salvation in Christ is meant to be shared and lived out together. We are meant for community.

God calls us to be a light for the world to see and come to know Him.

I have always loved this passage of scripture, but as I have grown in my walk with God I keep extending to the next verse. We especially need to remember the last verse considering the culture in which we are living. Live in Truth and go to the Light so the world may see HIM.

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. “He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men…
