Sometimes I get frustrated because I expect God to speak to me every time I read scripture. But that is not the way He works. I was just recently speaking with Kendayrah about this is regards to churches that tend to be very theatrical in prayers and worship. After attending a service at a churvh just like that she said "If every time you pray your body shakes with the spirit, won't it be less special?"
I am needing to remind myself of this right now. If every time I read He gives me profound insight, will I stop recognizing His wisdom as profound? Thank you, Jesus, for amazing children that you use to teach me.
