Kootenai County District Court

Ever wonder what takes place at a courthouse? Join us as we take a tour! A knowledgeable Bailiff will take us around the Campus showing us the Buildings and what they are used for.  We will go inside a couple courtrooms and look around and the Bailiff will explain what goes on in there. We might be able to enter a courtroom that is in session and sit in, depending on the case. If the timing is right, a Judge or Prosecutor will stick around after the hearing to answer any questions you have.  If the prisoner area is free and open, we will get to go down there and lock ourselves in the jail cells if we want! Of course this all depends on if there are current prisoners.

Everyone must go through the metal detector and bags/purses/backpacks etc… must be X-rayed.  So the less metal….the less of everything…… you…
